Biopsi's 25th anniversary

You are warmly invited to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our student association at Hotel Ilves on Saturday, 14 November 2026. Please note that this invitation applies to Biopsi students from the 2nd year onwards. First-year bachelor students will help organize the anniversary celebration.

Registration for the anniversary celebration will open on Tuesday, 6 October at 12:00 p.m., and close at midnight on Tuesday, 13 October. You will find the registration forms at the end of this message.

When registering, you will be able to choose between two different ticket categories: 1) dinner invitation or 2) dinner invitation and post-party brunch (sillis). The dinner invitation costs 90 euros for Biopsi members (100 euros for others), and the sillis ticket costs 5 euros. The after-party ticket must be redeemed through a separate registration form due to the venue's capacity limitations. The after-party registration forms will be sent to the email on Tuesday, 6 October at 12:00 p.m. The after-party ticket costs 5 euros.

The dinner invitation grants you access to the main celebration at Hotel Ilves. At Hotel Ilves, you will be served a three-course dinner accompanied by wines, coffee, and an after-dinner drink. You will find the menu attached to the invitation. After the main event, we will travel together by bus to the after-party, where the lively party band Krebatorio will entertain our guests. Drinks will be available at the after-party, and drink tickets can be used to purchase beverages. Late-night snacks will also be served. On Sunday, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the company of Biopsi members once more at the sillis.

The dress code for the anniversary celebration is formal attire or a dark suit (tailcoat/suit), accompanied by academic decorations and insignia.

You may also register a plus-one. Please remember to fill out a dinner invitation for your plus-one by completing the second section of the registration form. When processing registrations, we will prioritize plus-ones of the anniversary committee and board members before those of our general membership. Local businesses in Tampere are also assisting with the anniversary preparations! On the day of the main celebration, Glohair's Tammela location offers a 15% discount on formal hairstyles. In addition, the formalwear rental shop Kavaljeeri offers a 10% discount on rental suits and a 30% discount on suits available for purchase.

Rules and Practices

Plus-ones: Unfortunatly, due to capacity limitations, we cannot guarantee that all plus-ones will be able to attend the celebration. Our priority is to ensure that our members, as well as the Biopsi board, committees, and alumni, are able to attend. Due to their responsibilities within the board and committees, these individuals are prioritized in the registration process before the general membership, and this also applies to the plus-ones they invite.

Registration: Registration for the anniversary celebration is binding, and the payment is non-refundable if you are unable to attend.

Resale: The resale of dinner invitations, after-party tickets, and sillis tickets is prohibited. All cancellations must be reported to the organizers.
